Masters Level Licensed Therapist, Part-time

We offer flexibility and an independent working environment. Anchorpoint Counseling Ministry (ACM) is seeking a part-time therapist (state licensed and HMO credentialed – UPMC, Highmark, United Behavior Health, etc.) to work a minimum of 15-20 hours a week, mostly in the afternoon and evening. The ideal candidate must be a well-rounded team player who is able to provide counseling to youth, individuals, couples and families. The candidate must also be willing to participate with the entire clinical staff team to provide creative and dynamic ideas to support our mission to bring hope and understanding in our communities through our Christian Ministry.

Elementary Teachers
Tutoring program hours: Mondays thru Thursdays, 3:00 – 8:00
Salary:   $12.00/hour

Middle School/High School Math Teacher 
Our tutoring program is seeking to hire a Middle School/High School Math Teacher for 5 – 8 hours/week. All tutoring is conducted on a one-to-one basis at our agency in the North Hills near Ross Park Mall.

Subjects: General math, Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, & Trigonometry
Tutoring program hours: Mondays thru Thursdays, 3:00 – 8:00

Volunteer Office Assistant
Our tutoring program is seeking a volunteer to assist Tutoring Program Manager during the program’s busiest hours (Tuesdays: 4:00 – 5:30 and/or Thursdays: 3:30 – 5:00). Duties include: Record
fees, photocopy worksheets, answer phones, and simple Google searches for tutors/students. This position may be shared by two volunteers.

Volunteer Tutors/Mentors
Assist students in Reading, Math, English, and Science. Choose the subjects/grade levels (KG-12) that you are comfortable tutoring. The commitment is one hour/week during the school year on the same day at the same time with the same student helping with homework, study skills and remedial activities.
