Parent Education and Prevention Outreach Services We offer programs designed to equip individuals, families, and youth leaders with the tools necessary to help navigate young people successfully through childhood and adolescence. Small group workshops, professional trainings for educators and youth leaders, community presentations, parent support groups and parent coaching are among our offerings.

Upcoming Parent Workshops that are Open to the Public:

Young Heroines to the Rescue: A night of story-telling to celebrate strong girls Tuesday, August 1 from 7:00-8:15 pm at Northland Public Library

Facilitated by Anchorpoint’s Parenting Specialist and Master Storyteller, Joan Schenker.  Come and be inspired as you listen to three forgotten folktales that feature heroines who are brave, clever, caring and resourceful.  Discover how you can use folktales, creative enrichment activities and girl-friendly resources to empower the young girls in your life.   The recommended age for this event is 6 years old to 99+.  Great stories are age proof!
