Please consider hosting a book drive or donating books. Every book we receive makes a difference for those in need of affordable counseling, tutoring and parent education.
Anchorpoint’s Annual used book sale will be held sometime in June. More details about dates and times will be available once our venue is secured. In the interim, we need more books. Please consider leading a book drive. A book drive is an easy and rewarding service project for your group, business, church, community center or scout troop.
We are seeking donations of new and gently used books as well as dvds and CDs. We do NOT accept magazines, VHS tapes, cassette tapes, Readers Digest, encyclopedias, outdated text books or books in poor condition. These items don’t sell and are burdensome for our volunteers to manage.
Small bags of books may be dropped off at our offices during business hours. However, before dropping off large quantities of books, please call us to make arrangements. We may ask you to bring your books directly to our sorting area to save a few backs!
If you would like to organize a book drive, click here for a flyer with more details.
If you have questions about leading a book drive or would like to donate books, please call Denise Patsko or Dawn Tornese at 412.366.13o0.
Thank you for your generosity to those in need.
